My payout failed — what to do next
If a payout comes back marked as failed, your funds are safe and nothing is lost. A failed payout simply returns to your Talentir balance, ready to be claimed again. Follow the steps below to re-send it successfully.
Steps
- Open your dashboard and go to your payout details in your profile.
- Confirm the details for your chosen method are correct and up to date (IBAN, PayPal email, or wallet address).
- Return to your balance and claim again, selecting your preferred method — bank transfer, PayPal, or USDC/EURC.
- If you'd like to switch to a different method, update the new details in your profile first, then message us on the Chat so we can re-send it.
Note: A payout cannot be redirected while it is still in progress. It must complete or return to your balance first, so if a payment is mid-flight, wait for it to settle before re-claiming.
Why payouts fail
- PayPal: the account wasn't fully verified, the email doesn't match an active PayPal account, or PayPal rejected the transfer.
- Bank transfer: an IBAN typo, or a name mismatch between the account holder and the name on your Talentir profile (often a missing middle name).
- Crypto (USDC/EURC): an incorrect wallet address.
